Outdoor Activities
The Hotel has an all weather tennis court, putting green and croquet lawn.
The Hotel Grounds were originally landscaped around 1700 by William Dewar, who studied at Kew Gardens. The gently rolling parkland is home to many mature specimen trees, among them Douglas fir, tulip tree, copper and purple beech, monkey puzzle and mature oaks.

The grounds are bordered by the six hundred acres of the Fleet Oak Woods. On one of our suggested walks, you may encounter roe deer, catch a glimpse of a red squirrel, see otters playing, and of course there are birds galore. The paths are also ideal for cycling.
